Who is your “tree hole” when you are in trouble? The other day, I launched an inquiry into “who will you turn to when you are in trouble?” More than 2,000 students of our school filled in the questionnaire. The result tells a lot.
As many as 60% of the students choose to unload their trouble onto their classmates or friends. The reason is that their peers are more likely to feel the same way. This is a reassuring choice. 25% of the students tell their stories to their parents or teachers, because the adults are more experienced and trustworthy. The decision is rational enough to overcome the difficulties sophisticatedly. Having no willingness to talk about their problems, 12% of the students choose to remain silent. What an alarm! Only 3% of the students ask help from counseling service on the phone. It is efficient for students to release psychological burden through this modern solution. The option is quite amazing in spite of the relatively low percentage.
The survey result is very inspiring. To draw a conclusion, turning to someone to release our pressure and explore a way out is beneficial to us students. When facing serious problems, no matter what choice you make, you might as well find some “tree hole” to pour out your problems. The choices mentioned above cuts both way. You can choose one way we suggest or try to combine them by yourselves. After all, gain advice from different channels and settle your trouble is the final goal you want to achieve. (261 words)

Recently， a survey has been done to find out the reading interests of senior middle school students.
